International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) 2019 is just around the corner (October 13-19)! This year we will focus on vaccine-preventable diseases; our tagline is: Vaccines are Everybody’s Business.   APIC’s Communications Committee has developed new infographics around this year’s theme. These two-sided fact sheets can be downloaded, printed, and used to educate your healthcare colleagues and patient community. Additionally, APIC has created social share ready versions of each infographic.  

– Have you herd?The “Have you Herd” infographic is for sharing with healthcare professionals. It stresses the need to protect the herd through vaccination.
–You do this to protect your children.Protect them with vaccines too. There are three versions of this infographic that depict children being protected through use of car seats, bike helmets, and healthy eating. Designed for sharing with the patient community, they provide information about the danger of measles and safety of vaccines.
