Treasurer
Pat Metcalf Jackson, RN, MA, CIC, FAPIC
Children’s Medical Center of Dallas

Pat Metcalf Jackson is the director of infection prevention and control at Children’s Health, a three-hospital pediatric system in Dallas, Texas. She has been an infection preventionist for the past twenty-four years. Most of her experience has been in the pediatric setting although she has also worked at an adult level one trauma center. Pat has been a member of APIC since 1995. As an APIC-Dallas Ft Worth Chapter member, she served as treasurer and president. At the national level, she has served on the nominating and awards committee, as the section head for the pediatric section, on the public policy and education committees. Pat is currently a member of the APIC Board of Directors and serves on the finance committee. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Baylor University and a Masters of Arts from Dallas Theological Seminary and has been certified in infection prevention and control (CIC) since 1996 and was among the inaugural members of the 2016 class of APIC Fellows.
